Subscribers to worldrallynews.com in memory of David Williams

In memory of Mr David Williams

David was a founder of worldrallynews.com which was, for over five years, the leading independent news resource about World Championship rallying.

David was the leading English language writer about the sport, writing for a number of publications in the UK including the Guardian. He also wrote for magazines in Italy, Japan, Australia and the USA and wrote a number of books.
He died on 15th August 2005, aged 43, from a pulmonary embolism. The only obvious ‘risk factor’ in his life was extensive short and long-haul air travel, although this has not been identified as the cause.

Our donation of £1,250 comprises monies which our subscribers said they would prefer to be donated to a suitable charity rather than be returned after the site ceases to operate following David’s untimely demise. The site will be ‘taken down’ at the end of October but we shall carry a link to the CF site so that further donations can be made.
