Best_Foot_Forward

As part of the Circulation Foundation Vascular Disease Awareness week, the Society's spring meeting “Best Foot Forward” will be held on Thursday, March 10th at the Kings Fund in London.

The meeting will focus on the increasing burden of lower limb disease and diabetes on the NHS and the importance of a mutidisciplinary approach to limb health.  There'll be a wide range of topics covered throughout the day and we are honoured to have so many distingushed speakers on the programme.

A parallel session will be held for allied healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with diabetes and lower limb related complications.  This session will run in the morning and delegates are invited to join the main meeting for the afternoon sessions.  You can register for the meeting here

The King's Fund is a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, overlooking Cavendish Square in the heart of London's West End.  It is easily accessible and there is a wealth of accommodation and entertainment nearby to cater for all budgets.

Following the meeting there will be a drinks reception and dinner held in aid of the Circulation Foundation.  The drinks reception will be held in the Friends Lounge, where we will be showcasing some of the research projects that the Foundation has funded over the last few years.  A three course dinner will then be held in the Conservatory.

The Circulation Foundation relies on the support of the vascular community to enable it to raise public awareness of vascular disease and to build our research grants programme so that we can provide funds for quality vascular research.  We would really appreciate it if you could show your support for the Foundation by attending the dinner, and by introducing our worthy cause to your family and friends.
