Chris's Seven Summits Circulation Foundation Challenge

Chris is a vascular/renal transplant surgeon at UHCH NHS Trust in Coventry. He is climbing the highest peak on each of the 7 continents for the Circulation Foundation because vascular disease is a major threat to life and limb.

He has climbed Kilimanjaro which at 5,895m is the highest peak in Africa: Aconcagua, at 6,959m the highest peak in South America: Everest, at 8,848m the highest peak in Asia: Denali at 6,194m the highest peak in North America and Carstenz Pyramid (or Puncak Jaya) at 4,884m the highest peak in Oceania.

Chris has now climbed Elbrus, at 5,642m the highest peak in Russia. This will then leave him Mount Vinson at 4,892m the highest peak in Antartica to complete the seven.
