Circulation Foundation National Relay 2026
Carrying vascular awareness across the UK.
From May 2026, vascular units across the UK will carry the CF Baton from hub to hub, hosting local awareness and fundraising activities before passing it on.
The relay will culminate LIVE at the Vascular Society Annual Scientific Meeting in Liverpool in November 2026.
What is the CF Relay?
The Circulation Foundation Relay is a national awareness initiative taking place during 2026.
Participating vascular units will:
- Receive the official CF Baton
- Organise a local awareness or fundraising activity
- Pass the baton to the next hub
- Contribute to a nationwide campaign raising awareness of vascular disease
This is an opportunity to showcase your team, engage your local community, and be part of a UK-wide movement.
How it Works
1️⃣ Receive the Baton
Coordinate with the previous centre to arrange handover (in person or via courier, depending on team distance and preference).
2️⃣ Host Your Activity
This could include:
- A walk, run or cycle
- A bake sale or hospital awareness stand
- A team fundraising challenge
- A collaborative event with a neighbouring hub
3️⃣ Pass It On
Work with the next centre to continue the relay.
The journey builds momentum across the UK before culminating at the VS ASM in Liverpool.

- Be recognised at the VS ASM 2026
